Kanha National Park is situated in Mandla District of Madhya Pradesh. It has acquired its reputation because of its easy tiger sighting. There is a population of 131 Tigers and 100 Leopards in this park, with an area of 1945 sq. kms. Kanha is the only home of the rare ‘Hardground Barasingha’ in the entire world. Sloth Bear, Hyena, Chital, Sambar, barking Deer, Indian gaur, Four-horned Antilope, Nilgai, Wild Dog and many more wild animals are found here.
